Wayside: Sci-Tech Preparatory held its first high school graduation on December 17th for Lloyd Scherz, who became Wayside’s first ever graduate. Lloyd walked stage with a distinguished level of achievement, leading the way for his classmates, who, in May, will be Wayside’s first graduating class. Lloyd is graduating early to begin his college journey in Dunedin, New Zealand in February, where he will attend the University of Otago and pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Wayside: Sci-Tech Preparatory Principal, Mary Brinkman, and her team have worked hard to ensure that Lloyd completed all of his advanced course work to make his dream a reality from the first day he stepped foot on our campus.
As our first graduate, Lloyd is setting the standard for generations of Wayside Schools students who will take their International Baccalaureate educational experience to top universities with a plan to make their mark on the world.
